EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1

We will be requiring all attendees and staff to provide proof of full vaccination for entry into our owned & operated venues unless medically or religiously exempt. “Full vaccination” means 14 days or more following the final dose of a US FDA approved or WHO recognized vaccine against COVID-19 (e.g., Moderna, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca/SK Bioscience, Serum Institute of India/COVISHIELD and Vaxzevria, Sinopharm, and Sinovac).

Goldenvoice owned and operated venues include The Roxy, El Rey Theatre, Fonda Theatre, The Novo DTLA, and Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles, The Warfield and The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco, and The Mountain Winery in Santa Clara.

Additionally, each Goldenvoice festival may have its own health policy. Please refer to the specific Health & Safety page on the festival website to see what applies to your event.

This policy was announced on 8/12/21 in order to give ample time to get vaccinated before the 10/1 effective date. All current ticket buyers were sent emails from the ticketing company outlining the health policy update, effective date and windows to request a refund. We are no longer offering refunds as those windows have passed.

The vaccination policy will be implemented as an open-ended one, with any changes or reversals informed by updates relating to infection rates, transmission data, variant developments, and local and federal regulations.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT IS CONSIDERED “FULLY VACCINATED”?
“Full vaccination” means 14 days or more following the final dose of a US FDA approved or WHO recognized vaccine against COVID-19 (e.g., Moderna, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca/SK Bioscience, Serum Institute of India/COVISHIELD and Vaxzevria, Sinopharm, and Sinovac).

HOW DO I SHOW PROOF OF VACCINATION WHEN I ARRIVE?
Acceptable documentation may be a physical copy of a COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card, a digital copy of such card or such other proof as is permitted locally. A photo of the front and back of your vaccination card will be accepted. Proof of vaccination needs to be accompanied by a photo ID.

WHAT IF I FORGET MY PROOF OF VACCINATION?
You won’t get in. So please don’t.

WHAT IF I HAVE A MEDICAL CONDITION OR RELIGIOUS BELIEF THAT EXEMPTS ME FROM GETTING VACCINATED?
Any patron needing an exemption due to a medical condition, disability or religious belief will need to complete the Patron Vaccination Exemption Form. Bring the signed version along with a proof of a negative COVID test (molecular, PCR or antigen) that was administered by an official testing center to the event. Test results must be dated within 72 hours of the event. Home testing kit results will not be accepted for entry.

WHAT IF I HAVE TICKETS TO A SHOW ON OR AFTER OCTOBER 1 AND WON’T BE FULLY VACCINATED IN TIME?
Beginning October 1, you are required to be fully vaccinated to attend. All original purchasers were sent emails with the new requirements and given a window of time to request a refund, if applicable.

I HAVE NO INTENTION OF GETTING VACCINATED, SO WHAT NOW?
We wish you would reconsider your choice because this is a matter of public health, and we won’t get to have nice things like normal concerts without masks unless everyone gets vaccinated.

Based on your event date, 8/16-26 and 9/20-26 were the refund windows. Refunds outside of this window will not be granted. If your local mandate is equal to or more strict than our current company policy, no refunds are available.

For all AXS ticket purchases after 8/12, buyers are prompted with a health policy pop up and must acknowledge the vaccination requirement before they are able to purchase.

WHAT ABOUT ATTENDEES UNDER THE AGE OF 12?
As the vaccine has not been approved for use on kids under age 12, a proof of a negative COVID test (molecular, PCR or antigen) that was administered by an official testing center will be required. Test results must be dated within 72 hours of the event.

I’M VISITING FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY, WHERE OTHER COVID VACCINES ARE APPROVED FOR USE (ASTRAZENECA, FOR EXAMPLE), WILL I BE ABLE TO GET IN?
Yes, as long as you’re considered fully vaccinated.

WILL I STILL HAVE TO WEAR A MASK?
MASK REQUIREMENTS BY LOCATION

IF NEGATIVE TESTS ARE ACCEPTED FOR MY EVENT – WHAT KIND OF TESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED?
A negative COVID-19 test result (molecular, PCR or antigen) that was administered by an official testing center. Test results must be taken within 72 hours of the event. Home testing kit results will not be accepted for entry.

HOW DO I SHOW PROOF OF NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST WHEN I ARRIVE?

  • A printed document from the test provider or laboratory, OR
  • An electronic test result displayed on a phone or other device from the test provider or laboratory.
  • The information should include your name, type of test performed, and negative test result. Your ID must match your name on test results.

CAN WE SHOW ANTIBODIES TEST INSTEAD OF NEGATIVE TEST OR FULL VACCINATION PROOF?
No, only proof of full vaccination or negative COVID-19 test results will be accepted for entry.

WHERE CAN I GET TESTED?
You can get tested at any official testing center. To find one near you, go to Google and search “Official Covid Testing near me”.
Here is a place you can find a PCR or Rapid Antigen Test: https://samedayhealth.com.
