woohoo! Glad I got my tickets right when they went on sale. i noticed 4 days in between SF and LA. I'm sure they'll add more dates for anyone that missed out. anyone know the capacity at the Mayan?

i think the mayan is close to 1500 ish.

weird that they didn't jump to a much larger venue like the Wiltern or something like that. They're doing MSG in New York (crazy...). Not that I would want to see them at Staples Center or anything like that, but if they (almost) sold out 2 nights at a 1300 capacity venue (Fonda), it stands to reason the Mayan was going to sell out pretty fast. Maybe Myspace wanted to plaster "SOLD OUT" on their ads all over the place. anyhoo, i hope they add another date that's closer to a weekend since weekday shows kill me...

It seems like the Ed Banger team is very savvy about how best to build word-of-mouth hype; it seems likely that deliberately choosing a smaller venue for this visit may be part of the plan.

I think they'll likely add another Los Angeles-area show.
