I don't know about never touring again, but the last tour was cancelled due to her anxiety attacks (not sure if that was the official word...), so one can only pray that she'll get better.

Yeah. It seems somewhat likely to me that those "anxiety attacks" were triggered by recent events. Maybe she will pull a Chan Marshall on us all and get all zen and learn to love live performances. It's gotta be pretty hard to be a rock star when being in the spotlight isn't your thing.

hmmmm i dont have any insight on this, she use to rock it on stage, well thats when i saw them open for pavement, and i guess that was a long time ago now. they also did a fun free show at the old tower records before they released icky thump and she seemed in good spirits, i am sure tons of touring does take its toll though...

Personally I love Bonnaroo ... but maybe it's because I like that it's on a farm, in the middle of nowhere and you kinda have that atmosphere of Burning Man going on. I feel there's more of a community and more hippies, whom I love.
