thanks for the offer. would love to have seen BRMC open, but i'm going to see Interpol tomorrow and I'm checking out J&MC at the House of Blues tonight. Someone post a review of the Wiltern show, please!!

J&MC Worse than Bad
Horrid! Out of tune, out of sync and in a foul temper.

These guys have the stage presence of your lumbering uncle Ian. The quality of music did not come close to justifying the level of sound and their signature feedback and we left after seven songs with ringing ears and headaches.

Sadly for us we missed the excellent and underappreciated BRMC who consistently put on good shows. This would have validated the ticket price somewhat. But for us, the only salvation was bearing witness to the J&MC train wreck, before we had to turn away in dismay.

thanks for the review, sorry to hear you missed BRMC. I was pretty wasted at the HOB show, but I do remember a lot of feedback. I was too young to hear their stuff from the 80s/90s but they were definitely a Coachella highlight for me and I was glad to be able to catch them again at a more intimate venue (I didn't go to the GlassHouse show...sigh). One man's distorted feedback is another man's treasure.
