Today is one of those withdrawel days. I could go for some Coachella grass in between my toes and one of those Sweet Teas they were selling this year. I wouldn't even mind waiting on Monroe St right now foe 30 minutes just to pass by the place.

It's all about a Barrett's lemonade and a slice of Spicy Pie pizza.

Spicy Pie Pizza was horrible. I ate that pizza while waiting in line to buy BBQ. The bread was fabricated cardboard. I enjoyed all of the pepperoni oil though.

have you been to any other festivals?
i agree that it's a good festival ... but only for the reasons of: 1) They usually have amazing line-ups 2) The set-up of the festival is pretty sick other than that it's not all that great. camping blows ... if you really enjoy festivals, like the camping and enteracting and what not, this is not the festival for you ... unless you need a wind-down from the others.

I know a handfull of people who camped 2 years ago and last year and both parties said it was a hassel because of the curfew and police constantly coming by.

I want to do the camping someday, but I live close enough that the drive isn't too bad.

my point exactly ... do you see the night picture ... do you see anyone out?! no because they have a curfew! they enforce it! yeah the day time might be fun ... like most camping can be during the day but the night blows because you can't stay up ... the cops will bug you all night long.

a lot of people are actually tired after 12 hours in the sun..but I heard this year was loud rather late.. offsite camping is fun too, try lake cahuilla. no curfew.

Camping is definitely a part of the festival experience, and is a fun way to party and meet new people. Real nice sense of community, and gotta love the extras, like food and karaoke. Without camping, it's just a really long concert. But after four years and spending the entire weekend this year one step away from dying of AIDZ allergiez, I'm over the novelty of the "experience." Hell, I'm too old for this shit, so I need a real place to stay next year.

Hello fatbastard.
![]() And ld: I WAS there. And people do continue partying well into the night ignoring the entire curfew rule. But you know what the bottom line is? That while you are either walking/biking/driving/flying/whatever to wherever else you're staying, the individuals who are camping on-site are already either washing up or partying/drinking or sexing. That's the bottom line. You do whatever the hell you want. No one here gets a bonus for convincing you to join the party on-site. Just don't go making assumptations without knowing what on-site camping is all about. Tis' all. *whistles* E |

yes fair enough is right ... you've made a good arguement and i give up cause well i've never personally experience a coachella camping experience ... just other ones. but this IS only because i've had past campers of coachella tell me it's horrible. but yeah.

Well, as past camper of Coachella, I can tell you it's not horrible AT ALL. I will do it next year, even if I have the chance to get a condo or hotel. I wouldn't take it over camping. I'm not traveling from far away to be only in a long concert as Boourns said. It's all about to live the experience!
I can help you to set up your tent idkenefick
