Dear all,

I am based in the UK and for the past four years have worked (seasonally) for Glastonbury Festival; I've worked various roles from production up to where I am now which is site management. Recently I have also completed a Bachelors degree in Music & Live Events Management, and will be going back to school in the fall to do a Masters in Arts Management.

Unfortunately this year, because of the Olympic games in London, there will be no Glastonbury. However, I wish to utilise this opportunity and I'd really love to get a similar role at Coachella this year. I have worked production roles at South by South West (in 2009) which was fairly easy to set up - I'm really struggling to get any kind of contact with Coachella. I do realise I can get a ticket and attend; however I love working at festivals and being part of something amazing. I'd also love to learn first hand how the American festival industry pulls off an outdoor green field festival like we have in Europe, and experience how you guys operate within the boundaries.

If anyone knows anybody who could help me, I'd appreciate it greatly. This isn't somebody who can't be bothered to buy a ticket - I have no issue in funding my flights and whatever else to come and help out at Coachella as I know it would be a once in a lifetime experience and fantastic development opportunity for myself. Please feel free to fire me an email if you have any ideas.

Thanks for reading guys, all the best to you.

Stew.
